Design and Analysis

PZ&W’s design and analysis services principally cover structures to support equipment of all types:

• Masts and Towers
• Columns
• Bespoke structures
• Foundations

We have developed a suite of analytical software for lattice towers, masts, columns, wire arrays and foundations that has been verified against both operator and other consultants’ systems. Where a particular project requires so we will use commercially available general analysis packages.

In addition to our own designs, PZ&W also undertakes the analysis of designs originally undertaken by others. This may be the verification of a new design produced by another design consultancy as a peer review or to assess the capacity of an existing structure. In the latter case where original design details may not be available, PZ&W can conduct a full survey of the structure measuring geometry, member and bolt sizes to create a model that can then be assessed.
